For years, the best climate projects were only available to large buyers. If you wanted engineered removal or verified nature-based credits, you needed a corporate budget and a six-month sales cycle. The minimum order was often 50,000 euros.
Small businesses were left with consumer platforms of questionable quality, or nothing at all. We think that's backwards. Project quality shouldn't depend on company size.
Today, we're launching Senken Checkout. It's a self-service platform that allows any business or individual to buy the same portfolio-grade carbon credits we source for corporate clients.

What you're buying
Every credit in Checkout comes from projects vetted through our Quality Framework, which covers over 600 data points. We evaluate methodology, additionality, permanence, and co-benefits. Right now, the portfolio includes biochar carbon removal, enhanced rock weathering, and verified forestry projects. You can choose between German projects (at €89 per tonne) or international forestry projects (at €38 per tonne). As our pipeline grows, we'll add more. The screening process stays the same.
How it works
Visit the checkout page. Select your company or household size to estimate your footprint, or enter a custom amount if you already know it. Pay by card or invoice. You'll receive a shareable contribution certificate immediately and get access to a dashboard where you can track and manage your contributions over time.
The entire flow takes under five minutes. You can buy up to 500 credits in a single purchase. That’s typically enough for a medium-sized office-based company or for specific events, such as conferences or team trips. If you need more than 500 tonnes per year, our team will build a tailored portfolio that matches your needs.
Who this is for
Checkout works for anyone who needs quality without complexity. SMEs that want credible climate action without running an RFP. Teams covering a specific quarter or event. Individuals who care about impact and want proof that their money went somewhere real.
If you need portfolio management, annual reporting, or offtake agreements, our team still builds those. Checkout doesn't replace that work. It adds a faster path for buyers who don't need it.
Why we built this
We work with large buyers who offset thousands of tonnes per year. They need bespoke portfolios, ongoing reporting, and strategic advice. We love that work.
But we kept hearing from smaller companies. They wanted access to the same projects without waiting months or hitting arbitrary minimums. The operational overhead of a sales process made small orders uneconomical.
So we built infrastructure to remove that friction. Stripe solved this problem for payments. We're solving it for carbon credits.
What this changes
When only large buyers can afford quality, the market stays concentrated. When any business can participate, demand spreads. More demand funds more removal projects. More projects mean more carbon pulled from the atmosphere.
We're not trying to replace our enterprise work. We're opening access to companies that most suppliers ignore. The market should work like a store, not a nightclub with a velvet rope.
