Senken Checkout is a simple way for businesses to purchase up to 500 tCO2 of high-quality carbon credits. Add or estimate your footprint, choose one of three pre-built portfolios, enter your company details and pay by card or invoice. Pay by invoice is available to businesses based in the EU and UK only.

Senken Checkout is built for businesses making carbon credit purchases up to 500 tCO2. This includes SMEs, suppliers to larger corporates, family offices and funds, and businesses looking to address emissions from travel, events or other parts of their footprint.

Checkout is for businesses and self-employed professionals only. Personal purchases aren’t supported, as Senken Checkout is set up specifically for business customers and their purchasing, documentation and retirement needs.

A carbon credit represents one tonne of CO2 reduced, avoided or removed from the atmosphere. Quality matters because projects can differ significantly in how their climate impact is measured, verified and protected against risk.

Senken screens projects before they are included in Checkout portfolios, helping businesses purchase carbon credits with greater confidence.

Every project available through Senken Checkout goes through Senken’s quality assessment process before being included in a portfolio. Projects are screened and monitored using our Sustainability Integrity Index across 600+ data points to assess quality, risk and climate impact.

Yes. The Removal-only Projects portfolio includes only carbon removal projects, combining nature-based and technology-based removal methods. It is designed for businesses that want to direct their purchase specifically towards carbon removal.

Carbon credit prices vary depending on factors such as project type, location, durability, monitoring requirements and overall project quality. Senken Checkout offers three portfolios at different price points, with the current price per tCO2 shown before you purchase.

Select “Pay now” to pay by card, or “Pay by invoice” to receive an invoice with 14-day payment terms. Pay by invoice is available to businesses based in the EU and UK only. All purchases are one-off, with no recurring subscription.

Once payment is received, we’ll email your contribution certificate and purchase documentation. Senken then retires the purchased carbon credits on your behalf, in batches based on project verification and registry availability.
